Alex DuBois
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Alexandra moved to San Diego to attend The Art Institute, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She began her career as a paint color consultant before gaining experience in furniture, tile and material showrooms, and drafting for a design-build company. She later moved into a designer role, working on residential projects ranging from small renovations to large ground-up homes, as well as restaurants and hospitality spaces throughout San Diego County. Alexandra recently traded San Diego for Idyllwild, a small mountain town between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, where she lives with her two cats. When she’s not designing, you can usually find her hiking, backpacking, camping, or planning her next adventure.
Senior Interior Designer
Zoe Schorr
Zoe earned her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Texas State University and began her career in furniture procurement and project coordination. Her experience grew to include model home design, selecting finishes and furnishings and seeing projects through installation, before expanding into residential renovations and small hospitality projects. With a background spanning material selections, sourcing, and hands-on installations, she brings an understanding of both the creative and practical sides of bringing a space together. She values collaboration, welcomes unexpected ideas, and enjoys seeing a shared vision take shape.
Interior Designer
Cheryl Slade
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from University of Southern Mississippi and a Post Baccalaureate in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. With twenty years in design and project management, she has left her mark on single family properties, multi-family properties, boutique hospitality, boutique veterinarian practices and boutique pet B-N-Bs. Cheryl says the reason she smiles so much is because of all the time she’s spent designing boutique dental practices. Vision, creativity and space planning are only part of her process. Cheryl finds her discipline of planning the details (including budgeting and scheduling), oversight, and execution are what label her work. She served along the Gulf states with her furry associates Boheme and Bourgeois.
Design Project ManagerStephanie is a native Texan who has always had a creative mind and been attracted to design, drawing inspiration from nature and architecture. She especially loves the tactile side of design, the materials that turn a space into an experience. After graduating from Texas State University with her Bachelors in Interior Design, she started as a design consultant at a high end furniture store in San Diego, California. She continued her design journey working in commercial and residential design, and has spent the last few years specializing in the tile and stone industry, partnering with some of the top designers and builders in the city. Stephanie values working with a passionate team and sees design as a way to solve her clients problems, while bringing their visions to life. When Stephanie is not sourcing fabrics or working on a presentation, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her husband and rescue pups, Lemon and Ammo.
